Tulips in a pot

Hello there!!

Today I decided to use a gorgeous stamp which I was fortunate enough to win on ebay last week. It is made by PSX and features tulips in a bucket. The actual detailing to this stamp is astonishing so I was very keen to put it into use!!

First up I stamped the image in black ink and heat embossed it using clear powder. I find this helps create a nice edge ready for shading the colours.

I then began shading the tulips in shades of pink using copic sketch pens. I chose three different colours

I then shaded the leaves

Finally I shaded the bucket
The copics of choice today were as follows:

Lastly I chose some coordinating card in shades of pink to bring out the colouring in the blooms and added some ribbon and pearls to complete the look!!

First ever blog featuring my Hero Arts Flower Cluster Sketch Stamp!!

Hello there,
This is my first blog post so please do bear with me as I am just a blog novice!!

Today I would like to share with you a card that I have made with a Hero Arts stamp called  Flower Cluster Sketch H3129 which has been in my collection for many years.
I stamped it in black and heat embossed it  with a clear powder so make solid lines ready to colour in with my new found addiction - my copic sketch pens!!

I have added a dimension to the flowers by using black enamel accents on each of the flower centres which I think really trims them off well.

Thanks for looking!!
